Minimally Invasive Interventional Services

Our internists offer advanced minimally invasive procedures using high-resolution flexible and rigid video scopes for diagnostics and treatments.

  • Endoscopy:

» Upper GI (esophagoscopy, gastroscopy) and lower GI (colonoscopy, ileoscopy procedures)

» Urinary, genital, and respiratory tract endoscopy

» Pharyngoscopy/laryngoscopy

  • Endoscopic-Guided Procedures:

» Foreign body retrieval (esophagus, stomach, trachea)

» Biopsies (stomach, bowel, nasal passages)

» Laser lithotripsy and ectopic ureter ablation

» Esophageal stricture dilation

  • Other Procedures:

» Laparoscopic liver biopsy

» Feeding tubes:

– Percutaneous gastric tube placement

– Esophageal feeding tube placement

» Abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, and pericardiocentesis

» Bone marrow aspiration/biopsy

  • Collaborative Specialized Procedures (performed in conjunction with other specialists):

  • Tracheal and urethral stent placement
